Outlook Web Access for Mac

My husband is a PC person and checks his work email through MS Outlook WEb Access and IE. He doesn't like to use my Mac because he says it's slower and his folders don't show up. I'd like to prove him wrong since we just got this fancy smancy new iMac with intel. Are we missing something? Is there a software that will make it work smoother? I've searched the posts and seen a few things on Entourage. Will this make Web Access work better than his PC?

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do here.
Outlook Web Access was designed to be used with IE on Windows for the full-featured client.

You get a stripped down client when you use a browser other than IE on Windows.

The only way to get a full-featured OWA client is to install Windows on your Intel Mac and use the Internet Explorer browser.

You can try running IE for Windows using Crossover for Mac, but I think even that gives you a stripped down OWA experience.

Hi

Just wanted to add to this post. I am a maccie but my company who I work for are PC based. When checking my emails through web access I too had the problem of not being able to open emails through Safari. I have now downloaded IE onto my mac and only use this for the web access, everything else I use Safari for, it works fine with me.

Hope that helps a bit??!?
