Iphone & Motorola IHF 1000 CAr Kit

The iPhone works well with the bluetooth Car kit except when trying to listen to my visual voice mail, even when I make sure the Bluetooth option is selected in the audio button in the top right hand corner.

Has anybody heard of this

Notice the "speaker" button at the top right changed to "audio" when the bluetooth headset was active. Tap that, it gives you audio options. your Motorola IHF 1000 Car Kit should be listed there, tap that and it goes to the headset. It doesn't seem to switch automagically like it does with the phone function.

i have tried that it dosn't work with the IHF1000 Car kit from Motorola but it works with my Motorola 850 headset

I can only listen to voicemail from the speaker or iPhone itself. all the other functions of the car kit work perfectly, voicedial, and everything, but when trying to listen to voice message it won't play over the bluetooth car kit.

Can I listen to the voice mail outside of the visual voicemail?

You are correct. The only way for me to listen to voicemail is to use the phone's speakerphone function. It doesn't feed through the Motorola's bluetooth function at all.
