Trying to open ASX format, NOTHING happens...
Hi all,
I'm having a very frustrating problem on my girlfriend's MacBook. She's trying to watch lectures online that are in ASX format. So, we went ahead and installed Flip4Mac on her computer and everything seemed well. However, when trying to open up the lectures by using File > Open URL, NOTHING happens. There is no error message, player controls, or anything. The program just doesn't do anything.
At first I thought it was her network but her roommate, who is on a Windows PC, can open it just fine. Then I checked and all of her software is up to date including Quicktime and Flip4Mac. In fact, she can open other Windows media that's saved on her computer. To add more frustration, I was able to open it in two web browsers and in Quicktime on my MacBook Pro.
I've had her restart the computer and reinstall Flip4Mac and nothing is working. Any ideas???
