In word processing mode, Pages 08 created a blank page. I can't delete that page without deleting all of the pages in the section that contains that page. The help menu says the page should go away if I delete all of the objects on it, but that has not worked. Is there any way to delete this blank page without deleting all of the other pages in the section?

Usually a blank page at the end of a Pages document is cause by extra paragraph returns after the last line or an image with wrap turned on "pushing" the last return to create a new page. It is easiest to see what is causing the problem by showing invisibles. For problems caused by an image, click the image to select it & then check the "extra space" setting in the wrap inspector. By default, all inserted objects have a gutter (the extra space) of 12 points, more than most users need or want.

Go to the page prior to the one you want to delete. Place your cursor at the end of the page. From the menu up top, click Insert -- Section Break. Now the section is split in two. In the page sidebar, right click the offending page, select delete. Shazzam. You're done.
