I currently purchased a new MacPro 17" computer. I have an extensive music collectiona consisting of over 12,000 songs. I have purchased well over a 1000 from the iTunes library. When I accessed the iTunes store and purchased additional music on my new MacPro it was indicated that the new computer would make 5 that I have authorized. I only have two computers. The music was delted on the others and I need to de-authorize the other them, however I do not have access to them anymore.

I want to de-authorize the old computers without losing my music. I fear selecting "de-authorizing all" from the de-authorize process. If I do select the de-authorize all computers how will I turn around and authorize the two I want active? Will I lose my music library?

I'm not sure how you ended up here.

This area is for discussing Apple's AirPort Express (AX) and wireless networking. Your question has nothing to do with that.

You should ask your question in the iTunes discussion area.

Use the instructions in this article to deauthorize all the computers, and then authorize the computers you have access to. Deauthorizing a computer doesn't delete any content from the iTunes library; it removes the ability to use protected content from the iTunes Store unless and until the computer is authorized again.

Protected content from the iTunes Store cannot be synced from an unauthorized computer to an iPod or other device designed to handle that content.
