my ipod is frozen what can i do? 4gb nano
nothing will work,have tried all the off on scenarios etc.is there anything else other than restoring?

I know this may sound simple, but have you tried resetting your iPod? Follow the steps, to ensure that you're doing the resetting step properly:
First, toggle your iPod's "Hold" switch back and forth a couple of times (leave it on the white side of the switch, which is the Off position).
Then, press and hold the Menu and Select (center) buttons together for about 10 seconds.
You might need to try this quite a few times. Try connecting your iPod to a power source for more effect.
Also, you could try rapidly toggling your iPod's hold switch back and forth while connected to your computer.
Any success after trying either of those things?
