weird blue outline on selection buttons

Hello,

My problem is a bit difficult to explain, so I have included a few images below to aid in my explanation. Recently, when I have, for example, the option of saving, not saving, or cancelling the action in a program, the dialog box pops up and one of the selection buttons is blue (like normal) but the other two are outlined in blue. The same thing happens when I open iChat- the drop down menu where i can change my online status is outlined in blue.

It is not a serious problem- more a matter of aesthetics, but any explanation of how to make the blue outlines go away is much appreciated. Thank you.

The blue "halo" is a secondary option for you to select from the keyboard - it indicates "keyboard focus".

Only one other dialog box option should be highlighted (in addition to the solid blue one). Hitting return selects the solid-colored option. Hitting Tab moves the blue outline through the other selections. Hitting Space selects the outlined option.

You can turn this off by going to System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts tab and at the bottom click the radio button to select Text boxes and lists only.

Hope this helps...
