FREAKING OUT..please Help!! MyBook HD won't show up and PB won't boot...
from a CD.
Here's what happened. The WD MyBook Ext. HD was working fine. Then my dog got stuck on the power cord, pulled it out, and now it won't show up on the desktop. I have tried DiskWarrior and Tech Tool Pro 4 and neither see this drive (obviously, neither does disk utility). The lights are on, and I can here the drive running, but I have tried everything I can think of. Differen USB ports, restarting the computer and I tried to start the computer on DiskWarrior and Tech Tools Disk, but my powerbook refuses to boot from the CD. The whole point of this drive was to have my iTunes library because TV shows and Movies have made my library over 200GB (my PB only has an 80GB HD). I have lost EVERYTHING that is not on my iPod. PLEASE, help. If you have ANY suggestions, I have open ears. If you need any other info, please feel free to ask.
