Where did your MacBook ship from?

I wanted to know where most macbooks ship from so I get an idea of how long it will take until I get mine. It's custom made if that matters. Thanks.

Intel iMac 20", Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Hi Kevin,

I think no user in here can answers for sure, because none of us users here work for apple.

Do you have tracking number with you for your purchase? if you do and the data already received by the carrier, you can put the tracking number in and it will open the origin, destination and estimated delivery time.

Mine shipped from Cupertino California. I bought it off the USA Apple site. I have had to make some returns, and they were all addressed to Cupertino. That makes me think that if you bought it in the USA that it would ship from there.

If Apple has the standard model you ordered in stock at a local warehouse ("local" depends on where YOU live), then it will come from the warehouse. If you custom-configure a MacBook (add RAM, choose a bigger hard drive or have software custom pre-installed) then all of that will happen at the factory and it will go through an extra day of testing (this is why "overnight" shipping is never available for a custom-configured computer) and then ship to you from the factory.

I guess probably some place in China and it should go through shanghai, then Alaska. After that is either Memphis or Indiana , depends on where you are. Then your local Fedex facility, then YOU WILL GET YOUR NEW MACBOOK!

apple is based in california and as mentioned, it will probably ship from cupertino. All address I've ever seen on a package having to do with apple have been in california which is good for me since im in LA.

My macbook is out for delivery
it only took it one businessday to get from anchorage, ak to los angeles so it must have flown even though i ordered ground shipping. In general, it took only 3 days to ship from shangai!! so excited!!!! it said estimated delivery wednesdaty but its today yayyayayyayayayyaayayaya!!

Hi

I am awaiting the arrival of my first ever Mac computer, the MacBook and I chose a few customised options. When i spoke to the lady on the phone today to ask her when I should get it she said that they ship it from middle east to apple and then apple will pass it on to the UPS delivery people. I ordered mine last week on Wed or Thursday and it is expected to come early to mid next week.
