iPhone Call Forwarding: Setting Interrogation

Does anyone else's iPhone say Call Forwarding Active, then under that, Dismiss whenever you make a phone call? I called Apple support and they told me to reset the phone, which I did, but I'm still getting that Call Forwarding message. And Yes, It is OFF in settings~

In the Phone application, go to the phone keypad and enter *#21# and tap "Call". This will bring up the call forwarding information for your phone.

The first four lines should read:
Setting Interrogation Succeeded
Voice Call Forwarding
On All Calls
Disabled

If it shows forwarding as being enabled (it will say "Enabled" and show you the number it's set to forward to), you can turn it off by going back to the keypad and entering ##21# and tapping "Call".

don't shoot me if this is a dumb question/suggestion but is your bluetooth turned off? I was having that problem one day and couldn't figure out what it was from because my bluetooth headset was turned off (it wasn't even in the vicinity). However, the phone still thought it was supposed to be forwarding the call to a bluetooth device. When I went into the general settings and actually turned bluetooth to off, it stopped the call forwarding message.

You know I associated this with my bluetooth being stuck as "on" because it only seems to happen when I am visiting our corporate office in Columbia SC. I use my bluetooth headphone on the drive to and from the airport. Of course, since when I get on the plane I turn the bluetooth headset off and when I get off the plane it doesn't happen anymore, I associated it with the bluetooth getting stuck somehow forwarding calls to my headset. (Duh...! Sometime reasoning fails me......)

After reading this thread when it happened again this time I took note of it. I am in Columbia again and I am getting that "call forwarding" message on my phone again whenever I make a call even though my headset isn't connected and bluetooth is off. I did the inquiry like you suggested above and call forwarding is off in all of my settings. So this issue must be unique to something with AT&T towers in this area.

Well, that's not schweet at all.

I'm not sure whether to advise you to call AT&T or Apple. It could be popping up because of a signal being sent to the phone form AT&T or it could be a weird software bug.

My instinct is to call AT&T first, since I don't recall seeing this problem reported here before.
