Garageband connection
I found a very usefull site with iMovie 08 tips on this forum.

I learned there to edit the sound in GArageband in stead of in iMovie. This works great.
What I miss in iMovie 08 regarding this route:
1. When you open the iMovie 08 project in Garageband (which is a great feature) you have to export the sound track to iTunes and then import in iMovie via iTunes.
2. in Garageband media window the soundeffects from iMovie/SoundtrackPro/FCP do NOT show
Wish 1: Apple make it like this: the soundtrack in Garageband stays linked to iMovie project. Having the final version in Garageband is not wanted because you need iMovie 08 to share (export) the final version to .mac etc. This cannot be done in garage band with the movie project. The iTunes route is a step too much. AND show soundeffects in Garageband media window!
Wish 2: Better is it to embed the garageband sound track in iMovie. How can I show a screenshot here?
