How do I remove plug-ins?

I have installed some demo AU plug-ins in Logic Pro and one plug-in that I never registered because it didn't work on my computer (too slow). I've tried erasing the files in the plug-in folders, but Logic gives me me messages at startup. It asks me to tell it where the folder is. When I put the folder back in the right place, it doesn't take as long, but Logic Pro still stops to tell me that the program isn't registered. All I have to do is hit return and can I get into Logic, but I would like to get rid of it.

How do I remove AU plug-ins so that Logic Pro doesn't ask for them at startup?

I was just trying to figure this out yesterday....weird. I've tried deleting folders and that doesn't seem to work. Logic apparently has an internal "memory". Anyways... if you go to logic->preferences->start logic au manager you can either re-scan your plugins or turn them on or off. Beware if you are running final cut though, waves has problems with final cut.

Hooray for third party compatibility...
