Dog Ate the MagSafe
Hi,
My Cocker chewed on the cord between the magnetic connector and the power brick. After that it would no longer work. I am not keen on spending the $79 for a new one, so I was just going to cut and splice the wires together. The cord is a bit unusual with an outer wire wrap (like coax) and an inner wire core. Any thoughts about why the fancy setup and if I can just join the two inner wires and the two outer wires?
