IPhone won't open with iTunes

When I connect my iPhone to my computer, only iPhoto opens with it, not iTunes. Any suggestions are appreciated:)

In the summary page that comes up when the iphone is connected to itunes, there is a check box for opening itunes when the iphone is connected. If this does not work, there is something on the computer that is blocking itunes from opening automatically.

If you want to try and narrow down what is blocking itunes or why itunes does not open automatically, create a new user login on the computer and test to see if itunes will open when the iphone is connected.

if itunes opens automatically, there is something running in the main account that is blocking itunes.

If itunes does not open, then it is a system wide issue and you might want to check into reinstalling itunes.

Now to keep iphoto from opening automatically, you can stop that from image capture preferences or if you have ilife 08, then you can stop it from iphoto preferences.

Just look for the preference when a camera is connected.
