Finder can't find my garageband files, so I can't delete them

I posted this question before but got no response...
I have followed advice given to another use. Followed the link which instructs to: find the project name in the FINDER window and then drag it to the trash bin. Makes sense. The problem is, no garageband files show up.

I have, for example, a garageband file called, say: ABC.
I also have an iTune file called ABC.aif because I exported it.
I also have a text file called ABC.

The only files that show up through FINDER are the iTune aif. and the Textedit file. The garageband file is nowhere to be seen. Do I have some strange setting that hides them? I'm trying to sort this out but I'm relatively new to this... I'm only bright enough to light a small room...

Thanks for such a quick reply. Got me thinking...
OK. I've just figured it out. I created a folder (My Songs) in my main FINDER Music folder. Created a GB file and told it to put the song TESTAUG in MySongs. Poof! There is was. I could rename it, delete it by dragging. So... that problem solved... for future reference... Thank you so much!

The thing is, I was always creating my projects and letting GB save them to the DemoSongs folder. So, is it possible that THEY are hidden from FINDER? I suspect the logic is that because these demo songs are releasesd with the program, it is intended that they remain...? May sound dumb, but all songs, either already existing, or created by me, which reside in this DemoSongs folder are only traceable through GarageBand. And cannot be deleted or renamed, or moved so far as I can see.
Am I stuck with them?
