Burning a CD so it will play in my car

I have an older model factory CD player in my car(a 2001) that will not play mp3 formated CDs.

How or can i burn CD from my new iMac so they will play in my car?

imac ... macbook, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

Hi, when you set up to Burn do not select MP3 format.. I use SimplyBurns..free App..easy peezy to use.. http://simplyburns.berlios.de/

Hi mac_eh!: If you are using iTunes to burn the CD it is quite easy to change the prefences within iTunes. Within iTunes select "Preferences" > "Advanced" > "Burning" "Audio CD". That should do it

Hi, on another tangent, invest in an iPod & buy the plug-in adaptor that plays thro' the fm on the radio...both iPod & Griffin iTrip (thats what I use) are great travelling companions..L

Thanks guys, burning the cd through iTunes works. We have a couple of iPods but my wife perfers the old fashioned way of inserting the cds.
