Cool edit pro or adobe audition

Had some tracks taken over to a buddys for mastering. He did a fabulous job using cool edit pro. Way more flexibility than waveburner. I need some serious editing such as this. Perhaps the new Logic (whenever} will have this type of functionality, we all hope. But, in the meantime what are yus cats using. Thanks, Jayeson
