I've been working long and hard to have full DiVX support for video content in iTunes and I'm about 75% there. What's missing is the ability to share DiVX to other iTunes or Front Row users on my local network and I was hoping someone here could help.

1. DiVX plays fine in QuickTime thanks to DiVX for Mac (http://www.divx.com/divx/mac/)

2. DiVX content has been added to my local iTunes library thanks to Movie2iTunes (http://dettmer.maclab.org/movie2itunes.html)

3. I can see the DiVX content in the local iTunes and FrontRow applications.

So for all intents and purposes, I'm doing just fine as long as I'm happy to stay within the confines of my MacBook, but what fun is that?

I have the same exact setup on another Mac, i.e. I can play DiVX content, see it in the local iTunes library, etc. What I can NOT do is see the DiVX content in any Shared libraries. I do see all the iTMS purchased content, but not the stuff that I've ripped myself.

Is this a limitation of iTunes/FrontRow and there's no work around, or is there a fix like Movie2iTunes was just to get the content into iTunes?

I really like managing my content via iTunes and I love the FrontRow interface, so I'd really like to continue using it if that's possible.

Thanks in advance and anxious to hear any feedback.
