Quartz Extreme FX not working in iMovie (mac mini)

When I launch iMovie it says my mac mini does not contain an Quartz Extreme compatible graphics card. When in iMovie the Quartz Extreme FX components do no not work. Any suggestions as to the cause and solution would be gratefully received!

Thank you QTKirk Actually now that i check under graphics in 'about computer' i have intel GMA 950 graphics card with 64 mb of DDR2 SDRAM. Under Display there is the ref to my monitor HP w 19- Here it says Quart Extreme 'not supported'- but this just the display (monitor) not the card. Perhaps the intel graphics card does not anyhow support Quartz- thius seems a little cheap, if the case. What do you think?

Well feel a little strange anwering my own questions, but but QT you were right- the problem was to do with display - but in preferences- very much of my own making- my display in preferences was set up in thousands- needed to switch to millions...so silly error on my part at some point...but thanks again!

Well not strictly because actually it does not say the graphics card will not support QE, this is under the heading of display- the problem is with the configuaration of the display settings in preferences- millions is needed- the graphics card can support that (details above). But sure a little confusing.
