Ok here is my question. Does it hurt to use mac janitor on a intel macbook pro or macbook? I did down load it and I have run it a couple of times. Then I did some research and found out it is only for ppc. Has anybody used this program and is there a alliterative program that can be used to run apple script maintenance programs. Also is it true that if I don't run these scripts my mac will have problems in future. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all that have answered my question. This forum is more helpful than calling apple support phone. Don't get me wrong I have had nothing but great support from apple but sometimes it seems that they are giving scripted answers to questions. Anyway thanks again for all the help. I am a fairly new user and I am still learning.
