I was wondering if someone had a quick solution for converting flash swf's into quicktime? Any quick responses are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's not the QuickTime version number. QuickTime 7 can open .swf files that were published from Flash as version 5.

QuickTime can already open any Flash file (.swf) if it is "published" as version 5, or lower. Publishing is a feature found in the export dialogs found in the Flash authoring software.
QuickTime can't open .swf files published using 6 or higher. If you are the author of the files you need only re-publish to a lower version number.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way to revert back to five if I already have seven? If not, does anyone know of any programs that can convert swf to avi which I can then convert to quicktime? All the programs that do this seem to only be made for PC.

Ah, okay. Thanks again for your help. I'll probably have to get the people who sent it to me to figure out a different format in that case.
