The Brighter side of having the iPhone...instead of iPodTouch

Yes I was a little angry with the price drop and yes I'll be angry again in a couple of months if or when they launch an iPhone with bigger capacity but I know they wont be releasing a second generation iPhone anytime soon which means even if they put out an iPhone with more storage, any new features that it will have we'll most likely get since it wouldn't make any sense to release the same product containing different apps that wouldn't be compatible with it's predecessor that was just launched.

I am much happier with my iPhone now even though I had lots of struggle switching to ATT with my old phone but heres a bright side. The new ipod has alot of similarities with our iPhones but..people who buys it will most likely be carrying a phone with them...well we dont need that because our iPods already have a phone. And if you were as hyped as I was about the whole event, you would have probably already noticed that even though the iPodTouch has the same face as the iPhones, the back has the same finish as the old iPods which means it wont be as durable as the iPhone's.
All the smudges and all that crap, well we only have to worry about that on the bevel part of the iPhone (and perhaps the front glass ).
And the new iPods does not come with a camera either.
And if someday soon we get lucky with an iPhone version of iChat, most likely, iPod users wont really be able to use it unless maybe with wifi.

So the point is...be happy. If I had not bought my iPhone already and was thinking of buying one, seeing the line up of the iPod products, I would most likely choose the iPhone anyway. I hate sometimes missing phonecalls using my iPod with shure headphones since I wouldn't be able to hear it ring or just taking my ipod headphones off to make calls and such...so yea I love my iPhone!!!

Go eat some fruity cake you'll feel happier 😉 I promise. I was just as angry when my friend called me and started laughing hysterically telling me how he was going to go buy an iPhone for 400 bucks and I go..."HUH??" "where??!!"... "oh at the apple store...haha...wait how much was yours again?" So as he was on the phone I realized he was trying to make me feel bad so I didn't hang up....what I did was I went to the iPod section and I put some annoying song really loud and on the background I kept saying..."huh?? I can't hear you!!!!...it must be my ATT service!!.." lmao
Now if he already had an iPhone he would have known that trick did he? hmm

One more thing - iPod Touch does not have email. So yes, I am also glad I got the iPhone and did not wait for the next gen iPod.

I'm over being mad...the price drop allowed a friend of mine to buy an iPhone today so I got to relive the thrill with her. So all in all it is probably a good thing if more people get iPhones.
