Mic threshold?

I use a USB Headset in those circumstances.

I do not know of any app doing what you ask.

Mine came from a PlayStation2 Game (SOCOM:Navy Seals) Actually it was a Branded Logitech device.

I have no complaints from Buddies.

Best one I know is Garageband.
Play around with it, there is no price/quality substitute.

You can record audio from an iChat audio or video conference in GarageBand. When you record an iChat conference, GarageBand records the audio of each participant in a separate Real Instrument track.

We need and app or utility or Plug-in for iChat Audio that can filter the Ambient noise.

I see someone posted about an App that did for Audio what Funny Photographer does for Pics (I thought it was Defcom)

I have searched for "Does what Funny Photograher" in iSight, iChat and external places like Version Tracker but have had no luck. I also looked in the Download links here at Apple.

Both GarageBand and iChat must be open. (It doesn’t matter which one you open first.)

All participants must have joined the conference before you start recording.

I see what you are getting at now.

I am sure that the GarageBand side can play around with the Audio but not sure that has any influence on the Output through iChat that the OP is looking for.

My previous post is not the right way for you to go.
Try this from the Apple menu:
System preferences>sound>input> tick the box.

Hope this was what you were looking for.
Of course the mac users you are audio conferencing with need to do these settings as well to have the right effect on your end.
