Adapt to shorter product cycles or plant trees instead
Apple's product cycles are just reflecting this, they have gotten shorter and shorter for years. You are now living in time when the product cycle is so short and price drops coming so fast that you will no longer have time to feel emotionally rewarded as a "loyal consumer of apples".
Get used to it or... go buy other companies products. It IS a FREE MARKET after all.

Or just drop out of the tech-rat-race and plant some trees. I hear they don't drop the price on a tree for a good 35-50 years.
