Having trouble with my nano connected to a *Pioneer DEH-4901B* CD deck. I have it connected with the supplied pioneer interface cable. It plays the music Ok but the displays reads *_+ipod error A0+_* and nothing else. I tried the manufacturers' suggestion of checking the interface cable for pinched wire connections, but everything is OK. I've reset the nano several times with no luck. I've disconnected the power to the deck hoping to reset the logic to no avail... It did work correctly for about a month but now nothing but the error message A0 in the deck display. The music from the nano does play but I have no display options... Any suggestions??
My Pioneer manual states, the ERROR-A0 may be caused by not being charged. It also said to check the cable, power the unit down, disconnect and reset the ipod. I have tried all of these with the nano fully charged with no success...
I took the deck back to the dealer where I purchased it and connected my ipod to a new deck and everything worked fine. The dealer then replaced my deck with a new one... Problem is now solved... Thanks for your help.
