Today I just purchased a MacMini online and I hope to take delivery of it sometime early next week. But I now need to know if a Dell USB Windows keyboard will work with it. I know it's missing the power key, but is there anyway to make it work, even if just temporarily. If not, which keyboard would one recommend? Wireless is not really necessary. If my current keyboard won't work, I'll just want a basic durable (and inexpensive) keyboard.

Thanks for you help,

Jeff Ingram (future Mac User.....)

Practically any USB keyboard will work with the Mini.

If the keyboard has any non-standard "multi-media" keys, they probably will be inactive. But the regular keyboard keys and function keys will generally work OK.

The Mini has a power button on the back to turn it on.

You can shutdown the Mini from the Apple Menu.
