Cinema Desktop Output Problems

Hello everybody.
I'm using a Dual G5, with os 10.4.10 an FCP Studio 2.

I have some Problems with the Cinema Desktop Output.
As second Display I`m using a Video Projector set to 1024x768 via the Monitor controll panel

As sequenz in FCP I use a Foto JPEG code, with 1024x768 pixels, at 25 fps, no interlacing and square pixels. My video material has the same settings.

When i preview my material on the video projector, everything looks fine. If i start the playback of the video in the timeline, the preview is scaled down in the height. This Problem appears in normal, preview and fullscreen mode.

I can`t find any solution or other settings that may solve this problem.

Maybe some people of you can give me some hints where the problem may be located.
I need to solve this problem very fast, otherwise I`m in deep trouble.

PS. if i output the video signal from Motion i don`t have this problems.

ok here are some new facts i found out.

if i set my sequence to 1024x576 the heigt of the sequence (of course) is smaller. but the cinema desktop output doesn't scale the pixture anymore.

with these settings the preview from the timeline and the desktop output during playback are identical.

but i need the 768 pixel height......

the projector ist still set to 1024x768 pixels

i found out, that it is not a problem of the projector. the same sacling problem appears when i connect a second display.....

i tried to connect my mac book pro to the second display/projector.
1. with apple dvi-pal adapter - same scaling problem again
2. directly via dvi cable - same proplem scaling problem again

another interesting thing i recognize ist that none of the optimized codecs, ie. dv-pal, dvc-pro, dv50, is displaying on the second display when i playback the video. the second display only shows the last frame from the timeline. no update during playback.
