a way to have a Photo Mosaic?

Hi,

Many thanks in advance for your attention.

Does anyone know of a way - either within iWeb or in some software - that one can create a Photo Mosaic?

For example, instead of one photo on the Home Page, a mosiac of photos?

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

I guess I used the wrong word - mosaic.

I mean more a collage.

For example, like eight different photos - some of different sizes, all together in a block -

instead of the ONE photo in the iWeb Home Page template.

You can do this in dedicated software like Portraits & Prints...

.... or make it up in Keynote, export it as a JPEG and drop it onto your iWeb page.
You should have got a trial version of iWorks with Keynote if you bought an iLife '08 disk.

You will need to use a 3rd party editor that can handle multiple layers or objects in one canvas. Since you only want 8 photos in the collage you can use OmniGraffle in it's free/demo mode (maximum 10 items per project) and create any type of collage you'd like. Once created you can export as a jpg and import into iPhoto. I used it to create this poster size, 20 x 30, collage with 96 photos. It's an very powerful application.
