iPod Nano to Car Speakers

i'm not completly sure but i think you have to have an ipod radio converter

He was probably being totally logical since the iPod's signal has to get into the radio in one of two ways: an auxilliary port or an FM transmitter. And before you ask, I'm not just guessing.

Either that or an expensive retrofit. My last car had a lousy radio so I bought a Sony that had an aux port. There are also some really expensive models that have iPod ports. Another option for some cars is an expensive device that adds an auxilliary input to your factory radio but there can be downsides. For me I have a choice of losing my XM radio or losing audible warnings. And then there's the FM transmitters. I bought a Kensington digital and am mostly happy with it. I say mostly because in some areas there is no free frequency so the iPod is unusable.
