Text messages backing up and coming all at once...

When people send me text messages, for some reason i get them all at once, usually a day later then they sent them. I open up the text messaging program, and it gets all the messages i was supposed to get the day before or earlier that day...it seems like the only way for me to get these backed up messages is to open up the messaging program.

I'm not sure if how i explained my problem makes any sense but i explained it the best i could. If anyone else has had or has this problem and knows how to fix it, please let me know.

I don't think that's an iPhone issue, because it's done that to me a few times when I used to own my MOTOKRZR back when it was Cingular instead of AT&T. Might want to call them and ask them about it. Also it's good to turn off your phone every now and then and turn it back on.

I have had this problem with ATT for a long time. Occasionally turn your phone off and back on, so that the network knows your phone is there. It's the only way to really ensure it doesn't happen. Or you can call att (*611) and talk to a rep to have them text you and push any texts lurking in the network as a side effect. Believe me, it could be worse. I've had texts come almost a week later.

I started turning the phone on and off pretty much every night and it still seems to be backing up all my text messages...I guess I'll have to call AT&T and see if I can get an answer out of them.

I wonder if its because I have the installer app on my iphone and a bunch of programs/interface changes that I added/changed?
