Parrot CK3000 Evolution + iPhone, problems? Experience?

Anybody else on the forum uses Parrot CK3000 Evolution bluetooth kit with their iphone?
i had one installed last week, few things didn't work which is okay.... but sometime the phone won't auto connect to the kit. it connects 80% of the time.
just want to see if anybody else out there using the same kit experience the similar problem, not sure if this is related to my installer or iphone

I have the older first version, the CK3000, and it pairs fine and answers calls fine, I just can't use the voice dialing feature because I can't download the iPhone's phonebook. Are you able to download your iPhone phonebook so you can voicedial? If so could you tell me how you set it up?

My iPhone connects with my Parrot 3000 Evo just fine. Albeit it takes a little longer than my Samsung Blackjack. The sound quality seems somewhat improved over the Samsung unit. If you have issues, see if an authorized Parrot installer can update the Parrot's unit firmware.

I have the latest firmware 5.10c
do you have any problem with the magic word, where you can say "Phone" and "Hang Up"
i know voice print doesn't work, but was told that Magic Word should work but can't get it to work with my iphone.

I just purchased an iPhone (w/ V1.1.1 SW) and I have a Parrot CK3000 Evolution car-kit (w/ V5.10c firmware)

It will discover the kit fine and pair, but when I reenter the car later it seems very unreliable in repairing. One time it did pair several minutes after entering the car, and the other time it did not seem to connect - but did when I unpaired and repaired (reentered PIN).

Anyone finding any tricks to make this work better? I just got off the phone with Apple support to no avail (could not find any info on it). I've also sent a note to Parrot support....

I just purchased a 2008 Cadillac and had the dealership install the newest version of the parrot - system and everything works great - However, in my previous Cadillac I had a Parrot system installed in 2005 and it failed to connect all the time with my iphone - I am also now on my 4th Iphone - Apple has replaced them due to some sort of glitch - the newest version Iphone seems to have far less problems with the Parrot system - than the early ones.

I'm a bit surprised as I have the same unit. Try perhaps reseting the Parrot unit or maybe you are using the wrong PIN?

For the record I have a Sony Ericsson BT kit on one car and a Parrot kit in another. Both kits connect flawlessly to the iPhone.
