A little bit tilted?

I am sensitive to things not being level, like pictures hanging crooked, print on a page not being level, etc.

I really like my new nano, but I detect that the video is not entirely level within the frame. It seems to be tilted down a little on the left. (The black border seems thicker on the bottom right side than it does on the bottom left side). I find it distracting while watching videos.

Does anybody else have this issue with their nano 3g?

Thanks,

doug

You know, I was actually hoping that my screen tilt issue wasn't a common fault but it looks like it is,I've just returned a silver 4Gb nano 3G to the Apple Store in Lakeside, UK and have just powered up the replacement unit at home...... guess what
Same tilt.
Week 44 unit and a tilt that is gonna wind me up now as I know it's there. Looks like when I get time I will have to go back and make them turn the next one on BEFORE I leave the store 😟

i brought mine as a birthday gift for myself in early feb this year. and i was abit ****** when i saw the tilt. i showed my mum and dad and the only answer we could come up with was that it was to stop glare on the screen. but i think apple is starting to slack now. a few months ago my ipod universal dock failed and it took about a month to prove it was still under warrenty. it got fixed, but it shouldnt of happened anyways. (the audio out port stopped working). i dont know what to do because ive put all my songs on it and the movies i have put on have been deleted off the pc. and im only 14years old and apple probly wont listen to me. i've called up big companys before to report faults with my/their products and they allways end up being put over to my dad. and my dad will tell me to stop my ******** over a tiny tilt in the screen. it doesnt look shockingly tilted but when its sitting in the dock ontop of my PC you can see how tilted it is.

i might call them soon. but let me know on what steps i should take to deal with this problem because i dont want apple to think they can manufacture faulty products and noone would notice. i payed $213 NZD for this and i want my moneys worth. thanks in advance.

What is wrong with apple?! I went to 5-6 shops today. 2 were official apple stores (the online one and the apple store at manukau). 5 of the shops sold the ipod nano 3G 4GB for $239-$240NZD! And one shop (JB HI-FI) sold one for $213NZD. But unfortunately they ran out of stock because apple takes over six months to send out 4 ******* broken ipods! What is wrong with you apple!?! Sort out your ****. I got a refund for this ipod and I am seriously considering buying something else.

A complete waste of time.

You sound like a bleeding edger. The solution to your '10 for 10' problem is to wait a while instead of having to have the latest brand new type of device the minute it's been engineered. That's what I do, I wait at least 3 months for major new software revisions, and 6 months for hardware. And I'm way more than 10 for 10 in exactly the other direction. I have never returned an Apple product for replacement in almost 30 years of buying.

A little bit tilted?
