Where do I find the command to center text across a selection of multiple cells ? ie: I have a column title, but I want it center between cells B1, C1, and D1 . I know where to find this in Excel, but can't find it in numbers.
You can also use the Inspector>Table Tab. There is a Merge and Split section. However, with both versions (Inspector or Menu) splitting an odd number of merged cells results in some strange results. Additional columns are inserted causing some unusual columns below the split cells.
If you have merged an odd number of columns and you can't use Edit > Undo. Merge another cell with the already merged ones to make an even number merge, then use the Column split as often as necessary.
The split command only splits selected merged columns in half not back into the original ones so only an even number works.
I have sent feed back to Apple.
