Albums split up in iTunes library

I've imported a number of albums (from CDs) into iTunes. Most are fine -- the songs are displayed correctly and the album art appears.

However, some albums are split up into numerous sections, usually consisting of one or two songs, so and album might appear 5 or 6 times with one or two songs in each 'album.' Typically the cover art doesn't show up either.

What's the problem? What's the fix?

I had the same problem. I imported a CD that I already owned (Santana - Supernatural) and the first five songs are fine but after that every song is listed separately - although still noted as from Supernatural - the artist is Santana Feat. (plus another artist ie. Dave Matthews, Eric Clapton,...). As a result, the entire album does not play either on my computer or iPod. I deleted it all and reloaded a couple times and the same thing happened.

Any ideas how to resolve this?
