Where is the "Settings > Compilations" setting?

On my 5G iPod video, there are TWO settings named "compilations".

One is under "Settings > Main Menu > Music > Compilations", and it turns on the "Compilations" item on the main menu. That one I have found on my new iPod classic.

The other one is under "Settings>Compilations", right below "Settings>EQ", and it makes it so that the "Artists" list only contains album artist names. Artist names that only appear on compilations are filtered out, thus reducing the "Artists" list from several thousand to a couple of hundred. VERY USEFUL.

But where is this second setting on my new iPod Classic?

In other words, how do I make it so that the "Artists" list only contains album artists, like it does on the 5G iPod video?

I don't mean to thread hijack, but where is the option to create a new discussion topic? I am logged in and do not see an option anywhere on the main discussion pages in both Firefox and IExplorer. Talk about frustrating...

edit- you apparently have to register a reply to another thread JUST to be able to post a new topic. Talk about most user-UNfriendly forum ever.

This is annoying - I stupidly replaced my 4th Gen iPod for the new Classic the day it came out - the main reaosn for getting a new one was because the COmpilations option was not available on the 4th gen and scrolling though 1000's of artists that only have one song was annoying.

How can they release a new generation iPod without including all features from the previous generation - this is crazy....

Why did I buy a version a product on version 1.0 software - I suggest anyone considering buying an ipod consults these forums first!
