Ringtones not working

I bought two ring tones in iTunes. Then sync to my iPhone and they do not transfer. I see the ringtones in iTunes under the library. Have tried many combinations of reboot re-sync but nothing works. Can not get my purchased ringtones onto iPhone. Any ideas?

Hi folks - I'm having the same issue - I have tried 'authorizing' the computer (and now have the same computer authorized twice apparently) but that didn't solve it. And I don't understand the "Alternatively, click o the Ringtones library in the left-hand column and double-click the ringtone to get iTunes to authorize it" I went to the left hand side of the itunes screen under the Library section, clicked or double clicked on ringtones and ..........it just plays the ringtone...... any other ideas pls? THX

I just bought my iPhonetoday and have been trying to get ringtones on it all day. (I have had an iPod for months, and downloaded songs with no problems.) But I can't see any songs with the little ringtone icon it says you need, what's going on? Am I just not seeing them or are they not there or what? I have the newest version of iTunes downloaded. I am about to throw the iPhone out the window! If I can't do this simple task how am I going to handle the other stuff?? LOL!

I have not even been able to get the ringtone option to show up in my iTunes after my upgrade downloads. No bell thingy in the library or the menu on the left.

Funny thing is, I don't even care for ringtones really....I just want to make sure that the feature is working when in fact, I can't get it to start working!

Help!
