I have stadium arcadium (red hot chili peppers) in my itunes, but none of the songs are showing that they can be turned into ringtones. Yet, when i go to the store, they are shown to be able to become a ringtone. I have several other albums like this and can not figure out why it will not let me make the songs I already have (according to the store, able to be a ringtone) into a ringtone. Anyway to update my music or something?

I am having the same issue, I have a bunch of songs that I have purchased...they are listed on the itunes store as available for ringtones...yet I cannot do it to my songs...any help would be great!!!
Make sure you BOUGHT this song off of the iTunes Store, and you didn't IMPORT it from a C.D. Only purchased songs are eligible for a rigntone, provided they are approved by the music label first.
I know there are some music of mine that I got off a CD that I bought. There are some albums that I bought from iTunes a while back that does not allow me to make ringtones. I suppose apple wants me to rebuy the album again?
I am having the same problem with the ringtones. In fact, the bell symbol appeared for a few of the songs, temporarily after downloading. Now, I have the songs with no bell symbol and am unable to create ringtones. Two of the songs showed the bell symbol before I purchased them, and after the purchase there is no bell symbol. I sent an email to the iTunes support.
I have purchased songs from iTunes (prior iPhone ringtone) and they are not available to convert to ringtones. When I go to iTunes the same songs are available for ringtones, if I want to purchase them again? Is this for real or is this just a "bug"?

Alot of people including myself are having the same problem. I spoke to apple for like one hour on the phone and he transfered my call three times and no one could figure out why this was happening. Suposively someone from apple is calling me back in 48 hours to let me know how to fix this. They may just credit all my songs to purchase twice which is a little rediculous. When I find out how to fix it I will post it, but everyone should call apple to complain.
I'm wondering if this is an issue with 7.4.2? With 7.4.1 my purchased iTunes ringtone capable songs were identified, however, after upgrading to 7.4.2 and attempting to create a ringtone all the icons disappeared right in front of me! I've since downloaded a new song and that one does reflect a ring tone icon, however the others - that once did - still no longer do. I have rebooted and restarted iTunes but no fix...
