Custom ringtones heard by callers?

Hi...
I thought I had read that when the ringtones feature came online that you would be able to set it up that someone calling you would hear a custom ringtone. Is that perhaps a feature that hasn't yet been enabled? Or did I miss the instructions on how to set that up?

The ringtone on your phone that you hear when people call you, and the ring/sound that the caller hears while waiting for you to answer have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

AT&T has a feature called AnswerTones which has been around for a year or two now. AnswerTones allows you to change the sound people hear while they're waiting for you to answer. AnswerTones is phone model independent and works with any make/model phone. There is a subscription fee of 99 cents per month, and each AnswerTone you purchase has a one-time cost of $1.99 each.
