Sending email with itouch

I can send email through my school's email...but it only let's me send email to other people in the school. However, I can not send email using gmail or hotmail. It won't allow me to type in the gmail, and it won't even open hotmail...it says "too many redirections."

Anyone know how to get it to be able to send email via gmail, as well as send email to non .edu email accounts?

That's probably a function of your school's security settings. If so, there's nothing you can do about it. You'll need to find another wifi hotspot.

Negative. I'm at home. But I did find that gmails mobile site allows you to send mail through gmail.

Hi, I read on another forum that in order to send email on gmail (type in the body of the msg) you have to switch from html to text. hope this helps.
