could someone tell me what is the best hd camcorder at the moment to use with macs and imove 08?
specialy the cameras with hard drive.

I have used a Sony HDR-HC1 for 1 1/2 years for vacation videos with both Final Cut Pro and iMovie with great results. The video looks great on an HD TV set, and it can be converted to SD and burned on a DVD with iDVD where it looks great too. I think the Sony HDR-HC7 is the latest version of my camera. It's $1250 at B&H Video. I'm very happy with it. I use regular DV tape, and I wouldn't use a hard drive or DVD camcorder for video that I planned to edit with a Mac.
