yeah...mine kinda stopped working today. The kinda means that it works...but the mustic doesnt sound right. It sounds like I'm in mono or something...I don't get it. My iPod is fine and the headphones work fine with multiple iPods...jsut not my iPhone...
I use Bose headphones with my ipod 80 gig but when iI tried to use them in my iphone they did not work correctly as others have noticed. So much for the 'regular earphone jack' as claimed. It's the same size but is blocked by the small hole in the case. ipod in a iphone and you can't use it except with the supplies pods which won't even stay in your ear let alone utilize the Fantastic Sound? you get. Way to go Stevie boy.
I made it to the Apple store in Tyson's Corner today...the genius told me my "pre-amp was shot"...then promptly replaced my 8GB with a new one. I purchased only a few days ago (9/12), so there was no restocking fees or anything...

If not fully inserted the internal iphone jack connections will bridge the "sleeves" on the plug resulting in poor or no audio. You can get a:
Just got back from the Apple Store They are replacing my iphone because of the broken headphone jack. They are probably giving me a refurb because the genius told me there were no replacement 8gig phone in the store. I bet if I were buying a new one they would have it.
