maybe i was wrong. i'll have to do more research. I went back to AW to double check and it used the database to use the templates. I could find any answers in the help section of Pages.
I know what you mean. I was really hoping for a template that would allow me just to plug in the Avery template number and have it right there rather than having to fiddle around with trial and error. Disappointing. Wonder if NeoOffice can do it more easily.
i went to the above link and downloaded a few templates. i could not open them in PAGES but they will open in Microsoft Word. i haven't tried using any of them yet. i'll give it a shot tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.
If the Word templates have the .dot extension Pages won't recognize them. Change the .dot to .doc & Pages will open them. The same applies to Excel templates & the .xlt & .xls extensions. I've downloaded & opened some of each.
all the responses i received, forced me by nature to investigate further. i found that you can get support from AVERY for MACS on line. You can actually pick your label, form it on line, and print it on line without the help of Pages, word, etc.
