My iPhone fell off the table on accident this morning, and the Sleep/Wake button has been permanently depressed inside the phone. Is there any way to fix?

Thanks very much in advance.

You may, if you haven't already, try using some sort of plastic tool to jokey they switch around. The top of the button may be stuck under the edge of the frame and just need a little shifting. Don't puncture the rubber. It's worth a try

    Good Luck

i had the same thing happen. its annoying because the phone discharges in one day. ive tried to use something to unstick it, but the space is too small to get anything in there. have you had any luck?

Try brining it back to the Apple Store. Is there any obvious damage that you dropped it? You may be able to say it just got "stuck" that way and have it fixed.

I went ahead and took it back to the Apple Store. They couldn't fix it, so they gave me a replacement. They told me at first that it would be 249.95, but after they set the phone up, they told me not to worry about it, so I got it for free. I was pretty nervous about taking it, but they were really nice and helpful.

    Thanks for all your help.

any1 resolve this yet cuz it happened to me about a month ago an i took it to the store today...they unlike the lucky one above told me i WOULD have to pay $250...an ontop of being one of the dumbasses that paid the original $640 for it before the price slash i will not pay $250 to replace it...u think they would be a little more helpful..but any1 unstick it??

I dropped my phone and the button became stuck as well. The phone would begin to go into reboot mode as soon as it went to "sleep". I went to the Apple Store and they explained that it would cost the usual $250.00 to fix.
SHORT TERM FIX: In my case, I turned off the auto-lock option and left the screen on all the time. My phone only went into reboot mode when it went to sleep. This kills the battery life (and I carry the charger with me 24/7) but the phone still works. This is a short term solution. With 3G iPhones coming out soon (hopefully next 2 or three months) I did not want to spend $250.00 on repair. New Apple products are hard to predict so I probably wrong but I did not want to spend that much when I could get a new (and probably much better) phone down the line.
