ipod touch is conected to wifi but can't conect safari

i have a wifi conection and it says in the settings that i am conected and then when i go to the safari page to open it a window appears that says SAFARI CAN'T OPEN PAGE BECAUSE IT CAN'T FIND THE SERVER.

what am i doing wrong?

I get this too... but only with certain networks. It depends on how the wireless router was set-up... and not necessarily the iPod's fault. Wifi works very well on my home network, and some free networks around town here. There are a few, however, that just will not let me on.
Contact the admin for the network... and if it's your network.. look into changing it's settings. If it's an old router, it may not like the iPod for some reason.
