mainstage deleted my old instruments?

after installing logic studio I no longer have some of my instruments such as my sampletek white grand, and my trumpet section, and it no longer finds my hybrid morphs.

anybody have any thoughts?

intel imac, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

The title is wrong, this doesn't seem like a MainStage issue, but a Logic Studio Installer issue.

Did you install your private content inside the Logic Preset folders? The installer might replace that.

They should've been moved to another folder, not deleted. Search through all the categories of Logic channel strips and see if you find them.

ok I got my 3rd party sounds back in, but logic still removed certain things like the trumpet section. If I look for it in the finder, it's under a backup folder that logic makes when upgrading, but why would they move it completely? I'm also missing some morph patches that just don't exist anymore, lucky for me I didn't need those sounds anymore anyway, but the trumpet section was awesome, so I ended up having to re-create it from scratch cause the aif files were still in a folder somewhere.
