20" Cinema Display with G4 MDD (2003) Radeon 9000 Pro

Question

20" Cinema Display with G4 MDD (2003) Radeon 9000 Pro

I have a stock G4 MDD (2003) the last one that boots into OS9 and obviously runs OSX. Graphics card inside is the standard 64MB Radeon 9000 Pro.

Will this config drive a ACD 20" at the native resolution of 1650 x 1080?
The specs here http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=86115 do not mention this resolution.

"Digital flat panel maximum resolutions:
ADC: 1920 by 1200
DVI: 1920 by 1200"
so it can handle up to the 23"

Was considering the 23" and I know that the native resolution of the 23" is listed for the Radeon 1920 x 1200.

Can the Radeon support a display resolution that isn't listed e.g. the native resolution of the 20" at 1650 x 1080?

DVI should use whatever resolution the display asks for, up to the DVI maximum.
Here are the specs for the 20" Apple display. The ATI Radeon 9000 Pro is listed as a supported card.

I think that's the answer I've been looking for. It's the "should" in your reply and the lack of the resolution in the Radeon tech spec which still has me wondering.
