Keychain - How can I delete items?

How do I delete individual items from my login keychain?

There are several specific items that I no longer need, however it seems as though my only option is to delete the entire keychain.

2.4Ghz MacBook Pro - Santa Rosa, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

Keychain Access->select login keychain->select item->Edit->Delete.

Thank you. I feel silly now. I kept looking for something under the context menu when right-clicking an item. I also, naturally, tried using the Delete key, but apparently I should have been using the Backspace key. Thanks Again

sorry to jump into this discussion. can anyone help me with the keychain password? I must have clicked on something and locked myself out. I don't know what the default password is, can I find a way around it?
