Camfrog (and the
many other live video sites) have unique requirements. The FAQs or Help links at their sites give the best answers for your compatibility, configuration, and operating questions concerning their particular operations. You have done exactly the thing in going to them for help.
From their response, it seems that Camfrog recognizes that they have known issues that require software update for a fix. If you cannot wait for the update that they promise, you are left to decide whether to try a different live video website. If the current version of Camfrog is causing problems with your system or other applications, uninstall it.
