The iTunes Store is down?

Is anyone else being told that the iTunes Store is down? I don't mean just our usual problems with downloading purchased content, but completely down and can't see anything?

I just tried it moments ago and it's gone. The rest of my internet connection are find, and I didn't change or re-start iTunes.

Could this be a sign of them fixing our problems, or just things getting progressively worse?

iMac 24", MacBook Pro 15", iPhone, iPod, Nano, and iTunes still won't download!, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

I don't get a message that it's down. It's just saying there's something wrong with my network connection, which is completely wrong.
[latest try is refused to the famous time limit]

Yeah. the default warning is to blame your network connection. Good thing it told me, because now I'm doing the impossible by posting here when iTunes says my network connection is down.

I'm having the same problem was going there eariler to buy afew TV shows and it keeps on telling me theres a problem with my connection.
but yet i'm on apples website.
maybe they are updating it not sure.

It's also back for me. Too bad it didn't correct my problem of not being able to get my downloads when I Check for purchases. I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up.
