How to use UK Stones and Pounds

Maybe this is so obvious that I can't see it.

I'm trying to create a weight loss chart. On one axis I have dates (easy to do, obviously) on the other axis I want weight. However, I want the weight axis to be in UK stones and pounds.

How do I achieve this? I can't seem to find an option for imperial weights and measures.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately no Stones and Pounds.
Dividing a total (of Pounds) by 14 will give stones as whole numbers plus decimals that need to be multiplied by 14 for pounds =(B1+B2)/14 gives the first part but designating the decimals to be multiplied has me stumped.
Run as is if you are happy using percentages of stones, if so change the format to numbers with 2 decimal places.

No doubt someone will come up with an easier way.

Hello

I am not accustomed to stones/pounds but from you message, I assumes that this formula may help to do the conversion:

in french:
=ENT(A2/14) &" stones "&MOD(A2; 14)& " pounds"

in english
=INT(A2/14) &" stones "&MOD(A2; 14)& " pounds"

BUT, even if it is OK, the chart tool requires numerical values, not strings.

Maybe you may ask to the Numbers's team to introduce the ability to select units for weight or measure as there is already one for currencies.
But maybe they wish to push you to adopt the metric system which is perhaps a good idea;-)

I do not think that Numbers charts support multiple y-axes (in your case, one for stone, one for pounds).

In Numbers, as with most spreadsheets, you are responsible for managing the units of your values. In your case you can work in stones, write formulas to convert to pounds (as previously described), whatever.

When you go to plot, you can have Numbers label the units on the axes per you units, but that is your responsibility (Numbers doesn't know units and can't do it automatically). For instance:

Here I have selected the y-axis and set the number format suffix to be "St".
